Flight of the Gibbon was a zip-line adventure in the Thai Rainforest. You’ll see it all below. The cool part was, after we were done with the competition, the company that manages Flight of the Gibbon wanted to use our video on their homepage. We made a special version that eliminated imagery of alcohol on our t-shirts, lol. You can view it here and here.

Happy Veteran’s Day!

Thailand is known for it’s many floating markets. We had a great time at the one in Pattaya, experiencing a lot of firsts:
- dining on the ground
- eating bugs
- getting a fish massage
- feeding goats
Enjoy an adventure in trying new things!

Before you read today’s post. Have you added your caption to our photo from the Sriracha Tiger Zoo? It’s not too late. Click here first, then return back to read all about the floating market. There are some fun captions already there. We’d love to read yours!

Thailand, especially Pattaya, is known for it’s LadyBoys. In most instances, the unsuspecting tourist takes one of these ladies home and…surprise! But in today’s post, the City of Pattaya has created a show featuring these men who dress as women. It’s the ultimate drag show. World Renowned.
Enjoy, Tiffany’s Show!

Hey Explorers,
Have you ever been to a drag show? Yes we’re talking about those shows where men dress up in costumes, lip sync (oftentimes poorly we might add) and impersonate Cher, Madonna and every other diva out there? Well…Tiffany’s show is everything but that – except for the men dressing up like women part.

I’m taking another blogging break, and yes so soon after the last one. There’s still lots to do to plan for Australia, and I’m putting the finishing touches on the online store. It’s a lot of juggling. So while I spend the week working on other priorities, enjoy some more posts from my experience in the Ultimate Thailand Explorers Competition. Need details? You can learn more about the competition here.
Today’s posts was a fun one. Brian and I asked you to caption a photo of Brian sitting on a crocodile at the Sriracha Tiger Zoo.

On our 5th day in Pattaya, things got really busy. We had sightseeing, media interviews and the need to relax. We’re almost done with our daily recaps, and then we’ll get into the meat of our trip.
Have a great weekend.

There’s nothing wrong with being a tourist (it’s part of my travel philosophy). And drinking a Singapore Sling at the Long Bar at the Raffles Hotel is high up on the “touristy” list of things to do in Singapore.
What is a Singapore Sling?

The famous Singapore Sling is a fruity, alcoholic drink that originated at the Raffles Hotel way back in 1915. The bartender, Ngiam Tong Boon, invented it as a drink for British Ladies (thus it’s striking pink color) because they weren’t supposed to be seen drinking in public.

Whether it’s a tower, wheel, needle or office building, every city has some sort of observation deck. But the recently open Marina Bay Sands SkyPark in Singapore is the epitome of luxury, height, novelty and coolness.
When I shared with a colleague of mine that I was going to Singapore, he told me I had to check out this new hotel that opened with an observation deck that extends over the end of the building. I researched what he was talking about, inquired with their media department and was graciously given a tour of the newest and most happening hot spot in Singapore.

Unfortunately with business trips, you don’t always have the chance to see much of the city you’re traveling in. Such is the case with this trip. I’m hoping Thursday night will yield some fun. The combination of jet lag and work responsibilities has prevented lots of fun time. Nonetheless, I thought I would share some observations from 2 days in Singapore.
- Singapore is like being in a big city in the United States. It doesn’t feel like you are in Asia – at first glance. You’ll find every brand name in Singapore.

In addition to timing the time it takes to travel overseas, another one of my travel traditions is to eat a Big Mac in “foreign” countries (like South Africa). While my research thus far has found that no matter the country, the Big Mac tastes the same as in the U.S. 100% of the time, I always want to sample it anyway – just in case. Well in Singapore, I walked by McDonald’s and saw something that took my breath away…the MEGA MAC
What makes the Mega Mac Different from a Big Mac? Well, I’ll rewrite the McDonald’s Big Mac Jingle to tell you…
