Watch out Adventurers, those Drag Queens & Kings are fierce!
One of the events held at the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival is a Draq Race on Bondi Beach. Bondi Beach is one of the most famous beaches in the world and a must-see when in Australia. And if I was going to make a trip to the beach anyway, I might as well plan it on the day of the races, right?
What are the Drag Races exactly?
Simply put, Drag Queens and Drag Kings from around the world sign-up to compete against each other in funny, physical challenges on the beach.

I took a cruise over the weekend and couldn’t pass up an opportunity to pose and take a photograph with the new Disney Dream ship when it was docked.

Pattaya is well known for it’s beaches. I love the beach. So taking the ferry out to Koh Larn was a perfect getaway. Today’s post answers the questions: “How to get to Koh Larn?” and “What is there to do on Koh Larn?”
Unfortunately, beach weather is long gone in Central Florida. I’ll have to travel further south – or relive the experience here to get my fix of sand and surf.
Have a great weekend.

Day 2 highlights from Pattaya, Thailand included riding on jet skis off the island off Koh Larn. Jet skiing is great fun if you’ve never done it. I was especially proud of the video I made filming it. Notice how our day ended at 12:30 A.M. The life of a travel blogger can be quite grueling, but worth the effort.
Have a great weekend.

Hey Adventurers,
I got my “All Over at Haulover” this weekend.
I’m sure the title of today’s post got you all uncomfortable, but it shouldn’t. Haulover Beach in Ft. Lauderdale, FL is known for a small stretch that allows nudity. If you’ve never been nude at a nude beach, add it to your adventure list. It’s an adventure worth having once – and you’ll probably enjoy it enough you’ll go back again.

Last week’s photography tip was for Neuschwanstein Castle. Today we’re taking a trip to the Caribbean to photograph Trunk Bay.

Trunk Bay is one of my parent’s favorite beaches. It’s located on the island of St. John. I actually printed this photo in a large format, framed it, and gave it to them as a gift.

Where is Block Island?
I grew up only 90 minutes from Block Island, Rhode Island’s summer getaway, but never went there. The excuse always was, “I can go there anytime”. While a valid excuse, it turns out anytime meant never. I took it for granted. And now that I live in Orlando, I can’t just take a day trip to Block Island. So on a recent trip home to Massachusetts, my brother and I visited this tiny island off Rhode Island’s Coast.
Today’s post will be shared in pictures (and for more photos of Block Island, you can visit my Facebook Fan Page Block Island Photo Album).

I travel for business, many of you know that. And as such, I have to wear nice clothes and sometimes don’t always have the chance to see and do everything in the city I’m visiting. That’s why it’s so important to plan ahead and select the 1 thing to do. As long as I do that, I can leave happy. Everything else is a bonus.

The City Scramble was in Orlando back in March and coming soon, they’ll be in Daytona Beach, not a long drive for any of you readers here in Central Florida (or along the East Coast for that matter)!

This is one of my favorite times of year in Florida – Spring. Our cold snap is over, but it’s not ridiculously hot yet. It’s the perfect weather to go to the beach. And if a trip to Cocoa Beach is in the works, you may want to stop at the Art of Sand Festival and Exhibition at the Radisson Resort at the Port (where the Beach Line meets highway A1A).
Last week I gave a preview of the festival on this site. On Sunday I made a trip to Cape Canaveral to see the festival for myself. Organized by the Brevard Cultural Alliance, the festival invited nine world-class sculptors to transform a pile of sand…
