I was strolling through the streets of Old San Juan in Puerto Rico and came across this vintage, orange Volkswagen Beetle. It was the perfect focal point that truly punctuated the charm of this historical sea port.

How to Photograph Trunk Bay

Last week’s photography tip was for Neuschwanstein Castle. Today we’re taking a trip to the Caribbean to photograph Trunk Bay.

Trunk Bay is one of my parent’s favorite beaches. It’s located on the island of St. John. I actually printed this photo in a large format, framed it, and gave it to them as a gift.

IMG 0824 300x225 Maho Beach, St. Marteen I hope Sunday’s post piqued your curiousity. The danger sign that you saw can be found on Maho Beach on the island of St. Marteen. Maho Beach is located at the very end of the runway for the island’s airport. And when I say the end of the runway, I mean the end of the runway. The only thing between the beach and the runway is a 2-lane road. This is one of the only runways in the world where beachgoers can get this close to landing and departing aircraft.
