Sometimes that’s the reality of my business trips. On those occasions I take in the local flavor by going to restaurants in historic districts. I should have known better, but the brochure for the historic market looked enticing. See for yourself…

Sounds like a perfect evening out right? Well the market was a disappointment. It was empty, under construction, smelly and small. Very underwhelming. I was determined to find that picturesque spot from the photo, but couldn’t find it anywhere. I was beginning to think that it didn’t exist.

At the restaurant we dined in I asked where this location was. The first words out of our servers mouth were, “that looks photoshopped”. She directed us to the location and off we went.

It looked nothing like the brochure.

So my friends, even a well-traveled adventurer like myself can be duped. Don’t believe everything you see. Fortunately the restaurant was yummy!
