Friday night I had the opportunity to attend the Festival of Chocolate at the University of Central Florida, thanks to my blogging buddy Brian from Central Florida Top 5. Of course I indulged in chocolate from around the world, paired with some wine and even had a chocolate facial. But the highlight of the evening was the Cocoa Couture Fashion Show on the Festival of Chocolate Yumway!

I’ve never attended a fashion show, nor would I consider fashion a focus of mine (remember, it’s one of the ways I save money to travel), so attending a fashion show isn’t high on my list. But let me tell you this… The Festival of Chocolate Fashion Show was hot.

I had a front-row spot to capture all the action. Here are a few of the dresses modeled…

Designers worked for many, many months creating dresses made entirely out of chocolate wrappers. In some instances, over 1,000 wrappers were used on a single dress!

Some dresses were very fun and colorful…

While others were very elegant.

There was a competition too, where one dress was selected as the Judge’s Favorite. This was it. I love the hair.

Many were over the top!

But all captured the sugary spirit of fun!

At the conclusion of the event, I grabbed a photo with on of my favorite models in a very “fashion model-like” pose.

The hair, the music, the lights, the striking of poses and of course the chocolate made for a purely fantastic night of fun.
