Brian and I recently went to a local Thai restaurant here in Orlando, Sea Thai to celebrate our entry into the Ultimate Thailand Explorers Competition. Brian has had Thai food before, but this was my first Thai, culinary experience – and while I didn’t know what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised. Sea Thai is about a 10 minute drive from our house. From the shopping plaza outside you wouldn’t be able to tell what a gem it is inside.
By the time you read this post I’ll be on my way to South Africa. I’m traveling there for business and will return to The States on November 9th. While I’m away I’ll still continue to post, but I’m not sure how frequent they will be. I’ll do my best to continue my 6 posts per week, but I’ve already heard that internet is spotty.
Rest assured that when I have the time to post, I’ll be updating you on all-Africa material! And when I return, you can count on a full summary of my adventures in South Africa. Until then…
I found this sign posted on the side of Bob’s Store in Seekonk, MA and it made me laugh.
I was just going to solicit for that too!

Growing up, we made a lot of family vacations to New Hampshire. In fact as I’ve been writing these last few posts I’ve opened an itch I need to scratch by going back. We used to ski in New Hampshire in the winter, camp in the summer and in this recent trip, leaf peep in the fall. New Hampshire is a great place to visit. Yet on every vacation we took to New Hampshire there was one thing I wanted to do that never happened – ride the Mt. Washington Cog Railway.
