I was invited to attend a wedding today. The invitation said 5:00 P.M. I left the house at 4:07 p.m., anticipating arriving there at 4:45. It was a small wedding and I was going alone so I didn’t want to get there too early and sit by myself. When I left the house I got stuck in traffic that was out of the ordinary for a Wednesday. Afraid of arriving late, I called my friend Katie who is a wedding planner in North Carolina.
