 Email This PostI love a good zoo, and the Taronga Zoo in Sydney provides the perfect opportunity to see Australia’s well-known wildlife if you didn’t have a chance to spot them in the wild (check out my tips for Koala Spotting along the Great Ocean Road). Today’s post is a photo essay from my day at the zoo. Enjoy! The Taronga Zoo is just a short ferry ride from Sydney Harbor. Ferries run all day long, are reasonably priced and offer a great view of the harbor.

Today’s post is especially for Central Floridians. If you don’t live in Florida or plan on visiting in the next month, why not read another ferocious animal post from the past: Attacked by a Lion? Jurassic Park is my favorite movie and book. The Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C. is my favorite of the Smithsonian Museums, simply because of it’s fossilized skeletons. Guests can drive their car from exhibit area to exhibit area, travel by tram, or rent a golf cart. We chose the golf cart option and that’s where the antics began. Who wouldn’t want to parody Jurassic Park? Happy New Year. See you in 2011! *****

Email This PostBy far, the best zoo I have ever been to is the St. Louis Zoo. I took 2.5 GB worth of photos. After I have uploaded them into my computer at home I’ll post my favorites. Until then enjoy a few captured from my iPhone. That’s write, today’s post comes to you from the bed in my hotel room on my WordPress app. Technology is truly amazing.
