I have some exciting news to share with you. adventureswithben.com will be coming to you LIVE! in September. I’ll be transitioning from the virtual world to the physical world at the Orlando Public Library.
It all started with a post I wrote earlier in the month, Free Books at the Orlando Public Library. Somehow, someone at the library found my post and invited me to speak at the library about traveling. So, on Tuesday, September 21st from 630-730 P.M., I’ll be speaking about: 9 1/2 ways to ignite adventure in your life. Here’s the official presentation description:
194 Countries. 50 States. 67 Counties in Florida. Where have you been and what have you seen? Join Orlando Adventurer Ben Reed for this 60-minute presentation filled with true tales of adventure from around the world and Central Florida and learn 9½ travel tips and habits you can do to discover your own neighborhood, explore our world, travel more often and have more fun when traveling! Ben has logged over 320,000 miles traveling to 15 countries in 5 continents where he’s walked with lions, dived with sharks and won a worldwide social media travel competition sponsored by the Tourism of Authority of Thailand. As a travel writer at adventureswithben.com, Ben’s daily stories inspire others in Central Florida and around the world to live a life full of adventure!
I’m so excited about this opportunity I even filmed a commercial for it. Take a look.
While September seems a long way away, it will come up quick. So each night until then I’ll be hard at work putting together my presentation. What’s one of your favorite adventures you’ve read at adventureswithben.com that you think the library audience would be interested in hearing about? Comment with your favorite.
I’ll see you out there…! On Tuesday, September 21st at the Orlando Public Library on Central Blvd. at 6:30 P.M. on the 1st floor.

Go Ben! Celebrations a plenty are in your future.
Celebrate for sure…but I’ll just be getting started. This talk has me scheming of even bigger things! Read any good travel e-books lately?
Ben, What a great opportunity! I called the library some time back about doing educational seminars on computer geeky stuff and they said only those in their current employed did those.
This is good publicly for you. Keep me informed. I would love to attend

Eileen,
Thanks so much. Maybe if you wrote a post about how the library offers great computer classes they might invite you to speak. That’s what happened to me. Hope to see you there!
