Calling all Orlandoans…
You may have seen the “Sh*T People Say” videos that have been making their way around the internet (Here are 15 of the best). Well it’s time we created one just for Orlando!

Here’s what you need to do…
Submit Your Quote
- Grab your flip cam, smart phone or (gasp) VHS Camcorder and film your 10-15 second quote. The funnier the better! If you need ideas on what to say, let me know! What do people in Orlando say… a lot?
- Videos should be short, as your quip will be edited amongst other Orlando Personalities.
- Email your videos to ben [at] adventureswithben [dot] com.
- If you’re a blogger, tweeter, small business or have some other social media presence you’d like to promote, include the appropriate web link to be credited in the video. If you don’t, no worries!
- The deadline for all video submissions is Saturday Evening, February 4th, 2012.
- Spread the news! We want as many submissions as possible, so let everyone know on Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- Join the facebook event!
Tips for Making a Sweet Video Clip!
- Pick a great background – maybe something iconic in Orlando
- Record a few extra seconds at the beginning and end of your video to help with editing
- Dress up in a costume
- Speak loudly and clearly into the microphone
- Watch out for background noise
- Be sure you get everyone’s permission you’re filming (including the location you’re at if it’s not public property)
- Use good judgement in your video
Every effort will be made to include every video submitted.
Final Product
The final video will be edited on Sunday, February 5th and distributed on YouTube, Facebook, etc. Follow adventureswithben on Facebook to be kept up to date.
