Today’s post is a quickie. I was in South Africa and walked past this sign. I had to do a double-take. It looked like No Tampons Were Allowed…
See?
After some scrutiny, it was clear this was a “No Smoking Sign”.
I think the sign was installed upside-down since smoke rises and doesn’t fall.
It made me laugh and so I wanted to share it with you.
But I’m curious…If this was a No Tampons Allowed Sign, where might you find it? Tasteful comments allowed (Yeah, I know, how tasteful can you be when talking about tampons, but you get the point).

Ya, it’s an attention grabber.
I’ve actually seen no tampon signs in some airport bathroom stalls above the toilets.
And I’ve used the tampon on top trick when going to some concerts to hide cameras. Shhhh!

A sure way to sneak alcohol into sporting events is to put a tampon in the bag on top of it…usually as soon as the tampon is spotted, the bag is quickly handed back

Thanks for the tip. What a great idea! But what if a guy had the tampon in the bag? Would security still allow him to pass, or would he be pulled over for a secondary inspection given “he’s not supposed to have tampons”?
