The Stories of my Shoes

These are my Sketchers. I purchased them in Boston in the spring of 2004 and have lived in them ever since. These sneakers are near and dear to my heart. Besides looking really cool, they’ve been alongside me on my most exciting adventures. Sadly, 5 years of adventures have taken their toll on my dear friends and it’s time to say goodbye. I wore them for one last time today to the grocery store.

If our shoes could talk, they would have stories to tell: The places they’ve gone, The things they have seen and The people they have met. Wouldn’t it be interesting to ask our shoes these wonderful questions?

Our shoes provide insight into the worlds that we live in and the stories that we have- and that’s exactly what this site is all about.

adventureswithben is a long overdue telling of these stories, my stories, of 27 years exploring . Sometimes I may be somewhere exotic, but most times, it is just around town, the City of Orlando. But no matter where our travels take us, there is a story waiting to be told. Follow along as I share with you some of my favorite adventures of the past, present and future.
