What’s One Thing You Learned Today?

  • Sharebar

Today’s post is not about an adventure I had per se, but something I learned yesterday while I was getting ready for my next adventure. I leave in a few days for South Africa and had my haircut to look my best. Here’s what I learned during my haircut from my stylist.

What’s one thing you learned today? Each night at dinner, Brian and I ask each other that question. It may sound silly, but it keeps the conversation going on nights when we’re tired and don’t really have anything to say. It’s a better question than, “did you have a good day” because you can’t answer yes or no. Besides, you never know what you discovered. I’d like to know what you learned today. Comment below.

Mikey – Thanks for the travel wishes. Glad you like the site, pass it on!

Jeff – Thanks for sharing. I did shoot with the webcam, but didn’t realize the error until Upload. I’m not as enthusiastic about it as you are, but thanks for the kudos.

Aunt Rosie – I think you have just commented on what you have learned. You learned today, that you need to write down what you learned.

First thing, have a safe and wonderful trip to Africa!I’ll be looking forward to reading about your adventures there, and now to the question what did I learn today, well I didn’t learn anything new, sorry Ben,but you know,in the future I think I’ll try asking that question more often of myself and write it down right away before I forget what I learned new(lol)it’s an old age thing.Take care.

  • Learned that the status quo is for mediocre thinking. Hey, did you shot that video with your webcam? There was a distinct lapse in lips moving & voice synchronization. It was actually very cool. Safe travels. PS. Nice haircut. :)
