Spent the Weekend at The Palace of the Lost City

It’s been a hectic first week in South Africa. Much of the time was spent figuring out all of the logistics for my ’round-the-country tour of South Africa. If you haven’t seen my itinerary yet, you can view it here. We’ve also been rehearsing for the work which begins today, Monday.

Over the weekend we were hosted at The Palace of the Lost City. It’s situated at the world-famous Sun City Resort – the Las Vegas of South Africa.

I had an opportunity to visit The Palace and Sun City on my last trip to South Africa in October. Today’s video is from that trip. You’ll see a preview of The Palace and my adventure at the cultural village at Sun City. I took enough video footage and photos on this trip that I think I’ll have to dedicate a whole week to The Palace when I return. It was incredible. The highlights included going on a game drive, seeing Oprah’s Presidential Suite, touring the 5-star resort and running in a hamster ball. Until then, enjoy the preview from October.
